Michelle Owen is one of the UK's leading female sports presenters and is currently presenting Sky Sports EFL coverage. She has recently been part of the ITV Football team covering the mens Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

She has worked her way up in the industry from the very early days of hospital and student radio to roles at commercial stations including Capital FM. While presenting on the radio, Michelle began reporting on football matches for Soccer Saturday and eventually switched to sports broadcasting full-time. Her passion for football started at an early age and she went on to play in the Women’s Premier League.

Michelle is a confident compere and enjoys hosting; she can also edit and produce podcasts, and has been heard as the voice of national tv and radio campaigns.

Michelle went to Euro 2020 with ITV, following Wales through the tournament before covering other teams and helping cover the final. She also presented Wales’ successful 2022 World Cup qualification campaign live on Sky.

Recently Michelle joined up again with ITV Football to cover the 2022 mens World Cup travelling to Qatar and reporting across the country and pitch side.
